The coffee mixture made exclusively for the Boutique Hotel Don Alfonso 1890 is the result of a century-old experience in processing raw and roasted coffee. The sweetness of Santos Cioccolatato Arabica (just one varietal includes the extraordinary world of Santos Guaxupè Dulce, the select Brazilian coffee) combines with the slightly acidic Guatemala Pacamara Gigantes, with an almond-like taste and the rich body of Colombia Supremo Especial and a sweet and delicate note of Costarica Tarrazù. The mixture is balanced by Indian Kaapi Royal, Robusta and sweet coffee, yet delicate like Arabica. The quality of Robusta Parchment selected in the regions of Mysore, Coorge and Malabar gives rise to Kaapi Royal for giving the body and cream mixture for espresso.
The coffee blend is slowly roasted with oak, olive and orange wood from the Sorrento Peninsula by following an artisanal process that preserves all coffee aromas.
